Fitting Instructions

To fit the TailGuardian to your vehicle takes a couple of minutes for years of protection. Firstly, ensure the area is clean, free from dust or other particulate debris and dry - wipe of moisture and dust using a cloth. Remove the backing sheet and affix to the prepared area. Smooth out air any bubbles with a cloth, sponge or other soft material. The decal will, in most cases, last for up to three years in normal use and can be easily removed from the vehicle if required without any damage to paintwork etc.

In the EC, every year, there are almost 3,000 deaths and 100,000 injuries caused by road accidents where drivers were driving too close to the vehicle in front. Most drivers don't know what 'too close' means for different driving speeds and, even if they do they cant judge what that distance actually is on the road. TailGuardian is a calibrated decal designed to stay 'invisible' in normal road conditions until the distance for each individual speed has been broached by any following vehicles. TailGuardian exploits a feature of the human visual process to effectively 'hide' the decals outwith that distance - whilst the eye can 'see' them, the brain chooses to ignore them. This feature of 'invisibility' means that any existing vehicle graphics/advertising can be used in conjunction with TailGuardian without losing much of the original vehicle wrap. TailGuardian can be used to help protect your commercial fleet and your staff and customers by encouraging other road users to back off from your vehicles. TailGuardian will help reduce overall incidence of 'Tailgating' by re-educating other road users as to the safe inter-vehicle gap required for different driving speeds.
